Dr.Vivek Shankar earned his BDS from Sri Venkateswara Dental College & Hospital, Thazhambur, Chennai, in 2015, under the affiliation of TN Dr. MGR University. During his final year, Dr. Vivek excelled, securing top marks in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics and Public Health Dentistry at the college level. His outstanding academic performance earned him the prestigious Young Achiever Scholarship Award, an honor granted to only 16 students nationwide by the Root Canal Foundation, Chennai, based on their final year marks in Conservative Dentistry.
Dr. Vivek received extensive training in endodontics (Root Canal Treatment – RCT) from Root Canal Foundation as a part of the scholarship which led to his early role as an RCT consultant at the outset of his career. He began his professional journey in 2014 as a full-time Dental Surgeon at Saraswathi Dental Clinic, Orthodontic & Implantology Center, serving locations in Padi, Anna Nagar, and Korattur. He later completed his postgraduate studies at SRM Dental College & Hospital, Ramapuram in 2020 with honours.

Dr. Vivek is proficient in all aspects of dental care, with a particular focus on providing painless treatments using minimally invasive techniques. His expertise extends to implantology, where he specializes in both conventional and cortical implants, enabling the restoration of teeth in completely edentulous patients (those without teeth) in a single day.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Vivek is currently affiliated with the Department of Prosthodontics at Sri Venkateswara Dental College & Hospital as an Assistant Professor. He also serves as a consultant Prosthodontist and Implantologist for several leading dental practices across Chennai and Bangalore. Dr. Vivek’s profound knowledge and passion for research have led to numerous publications in esteemed journals.

Dr. S.P. Vidyalakshmi, MDS, is a highly esteemed Prosthodontist based in Chennai, known for her expertise in cosmetic and high-profile dentistry. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2016 at Sri Venkateswara Dental College and Hospital, Thazhambur, affiliated with TN Dr. MGR University. She then pursued her Master’s in Prosthodontics and Implantology at Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital, Maduravoyal, where she graduated as the “Best Outgoing Student” in her field.
Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Vidyalakshmi has contributed numerous papers and publications to both national and international journals. Her career began as an Assistant Professor at Thai Moogambigai Dental College, where she shared her knowledge and passion with aspiring dentists. In 2021, she founded Mercury Dental and Implant Center, a unit of Vijaya Dental Care, located in Anna Nagar. Dr. Vidyalakshmi’s dedication to advanced cosmetic dentistry and patient-centered care has made her a trusted name in the field.
